We are currently looking for a driven, entrepreneurial founding/Staff engineer. If you're interested in working in a small startup, bringing stuff from 0 to 1 and you want to have an outsized impact on product & tech, this is the right place for you. FoodFacts is a B2B startup specialized in CO2 calculations for Food (as the name suggests ;). We're currently operating only in Sweden but we have plans to move out into other european countries. We're currently already working with all swedish food retailers and prodive carbon estimations on all food products sold in Sweden. The goal of this partnership is to steer assortments but also consumers towards a more climate-friendly food consumption. We're also working with a bunch of food producers in Sweden as part of a pilot project to influence the food-product creation in an early stage towards more sustainable and profitable products.
The systems you’ll work in full-stack Typescript (Node.js on the backend and React on the Frontend) running partially on AWS and Vercel. Postgres and MySQL as our DBs.
This IS for you if: - You like to work directly with customers and end-users. - You have an entrepreneurial mindset: you want to influence the direction of tech & product and are comfortable with uncertainty.
This is NOT for you if: - You expect processes to be fully set for everything - You only want to work with [insert specific technology]
We don't sponsor visas and you have to already have a working permit for Sweden and be in the country. Apply here: https://tally.so/r/3l4z85
We're building a next-generation platform for advanced engineering design automation – a system that goes from high-level problem descriptions to optimized, manufacturing-ready geometry. Think: compilers for physics problems, not just code.
We're looking for senior systems engineers with strong computer science foundations to help us build our core stack – from DSL compilers to high-performance geometry kernels. You’ll join a tight-knit, deeply technical team with backgrounds in C++, Rust, compilers, optimization, physics and mathematics.
What you'll work on: - A custom compiler stack for our engineering DSL - High-performance geometric algorithms (meshing, optimization, constraints) - Systems-level architecture and backend infrastructure - Collaborative work with researchers, designers, and domain experts
You might be a fit if you: - Have strong CS fundamentals and systems programming experience - Know your way around C++, Rust, Python of functional languages - Enjoy writing performant, well-architected code for real-world math problems - Are excited by geometry, compilers, or simulation engines
We’re based in Tokyo and this role is on-site. We’ll sponsor your relocation and visa. Our team is international, and we work in English.

If you've never considered working in supply chains before, everything around you, including the device you're reading this on, has a story of how it got there. From raw materials to the final product in your hands, that story is its supply chain.
If you're the kind of engineer who thrives on solving novel challenges, such as building modern data pipelines to construct a supply chain from unstructured communication streams, Ameba offers you the opportunity to build from first principles in a greenfield space.
We're a seed startup made up of experienced entrepreneurs (who have previously raised $160m+, built supply chains for 30+ brands) and builders (formerly at Meta, Microsoft, Snap, Apple & Palantir). We have big ambitions and are backed by the best investors in Europe, having raised over $9m since our launch just over a year ago — and we're just getting started.
If you're interested, please apply here: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ameba
(Note we are currently unable to sponsor visas)
We're combining LLMs and transpilers to translate COBOL into Java. If you’re a Rust developer with experience working with compilers or transpilers, this role could be a great fit. Come and build a system that helps the largest companies modernise their legacy codebases.

We are a proprietary trading firm operating in conventional as well as cutting-edge alternative markets. Our strategies run 24/7 without manual intervention powered by low-latency infrastructure and the latest machine learning techniques. We're a meritocratic and lean team of highly-motivated scientists and developers and as such value technical ability more than politics: what matters is how good your code is, not how well you sell yourself. We spend no time dealing with clients, customers or investors and instead focus on growing our business by building better technology.
---
If you are a talented developer who likes to work on low latency systems please get in touch. We are also happy to sponsor exceptional talent.
You will be part of a small but growing development team that shares the responsibility of the whole trading stack. As you own the code, deployment and all tooling, you can rapidly and safely iterate on changes to the trading software. As a result we deploy many times a day.
Developers collaborate directly with traders and researchers, allowing for immediate reaction to market changes and fast iteration of live trading engines

We make an open-source web framework, an online code editor, a GUI builder, and a PaaS hosting platform. Together, you can build and host a full-stack web application - and all you need is a little Python. (Yes, even the client-side code - we compile Python to JS and provide a GUI framework!)
We’re looking for an experienced all-rounder to work on the core Anvil platform, with a focus on the back-end. Our stack is mostly Clojure, Javascript, Python, Postgres, and container tools – but we're looking for someone who isn't afraid to jump into something you haven't used before.
You’ll be working with other seriously good all-rounders, including the founders (relevant PhDs, kernel contributors, builders of backyard dancing fountains) and senior colleagues (eg: Stu went from teaching Python in maths class to reverse-engineering our drag'n'drop editor in months), as well as our other developers and developer advocates. We're bootstrapped and profitable, with a small, smart, friendly and diverse team.
Building dev tools is great! We're solving problems we've experienced ourselves, our customers are developers just like us, and platforms have the most fun engineering problems.
For full job descriptions, and to hear what it's like working here, go to https://anvil.works/jobs.
We work hybrid (in the office Tue-Thu, wherever you like Mon/Fri). If you have questions, I'm a founder and my email's in my profile.
Dirac is building the next Walmart-sized retail company over 10+ years. We sell d2c and are doing £300k-£500k monthly sales (lots of toys and reasonably seasonal). I built most the initial systems which run the company’s backend (purchasing, databases, pipelines etc.) but we will need something (and someone!) better to reach £1bn+ sales over the next four years
We need to go from a bunch of bash scripts coordinated by systemd, adhoc estimators and pipelines to a more coherent machine for demand estimation, matching products, warehousing and purchasing.
You’ll be mostly writing code (django+postgre+a hetzner server) but also helping our two more junior devs.
The vision for the company is twofold: (1) find 1000s of suppliers and wholesalers worldwide and (2) to ingest all their pricing, logistics and then move stock to where prices and demand is highest.
Visa sponsorship possible.
Investors include will thorndike, charlie songhurst, patio11, backedvc and some others!
