Genesis Therapeutics | Burlingame, CA | Remote or Onsite | Full-time or Interns | https://www.genesistherapeutics.ai
We’re a hybrid AI + biotech start-up, developing novel deep learning and molecular simulation techniques to predict molecular properties and using them to accelerate the development of new medicines.
We raised a $52M Series A from Andreessen Horowitz + well-respected biotech investors, and have deployed our technology on several internal drug programs as well as multi-target collaborations with Genentech + Lilly ($20M up-front revenue + $670M potential total value), driving discovery progress at a speed rarely seen in the industry. Now we are scaling the team and technology to support many more drug programs in parallel as well as increasingly difficult protein targets.
We currently have a team (https://www.genesistherapeutics.ai/company.html#team) of about 40 people, split 50/50 between our ML / software team and our biochem team of veteran drug hunters in our own wetlab space. Our ML + software engineers are top-notch -- many graduates from MIT, UC Berkeley, Stanford. Previously worked at OpenAI, Google, Facebook, SingleStore, Jane Street, etc.
We're looking for software engineers (no bio or chem experience expected) to help build flexible production systems to integrate our ML models, molecular simulation platform, and molecular generation techniques into our drug programs. This includes helping build individual algorithmic components, iterating on our chemist-facing model deployment pipeline, and leveraging our autoscaling cluster of thousands of GPUs and tens of thousands of CPUs processing billions of molecules / day.
We're also hiring ML research scientists and computational chemists. Here are all of our open roles: https://jobs.lever.co/genesistherapeutics/
Interview process: 1-2 one-hour technical phone screens, 1 day on-site (optionally virtual) with 3 one-hour technical questions. All these include extra time to chat, answer your questions about Genesis, and meet us. Can go from first email to offer in 2-3 weeks
Tech Stack: python, pytorch, postgres, flask, kubernetes
Please apply on our website, or feel free to reach out via email directly: ben@genesistherapeutics.ai

Graphistry | 3 openings - Platform engineer, security data science, security solutions engineer / security engineer | Full-Time or Contract | DC, US, Australia, Global | Remote + Hybrid | $125K-225K + equity + profit-sharing | https://www.graphistry.com/careers
-- Graphistry ---
Graphistry is the first visual graph AI platform, with half our customers investigating major societal problems like security breaches, misinformation, account fraud, and physical crime, and the other half using Graphistry to get a handle on commercial event data like the global supply chain. As a UC Berkeley spinout, we are known for having helped start the GPU data frame computing movement (GOAI/Nvidia RAPIDS.ai, Apache Arrow), the first distributed GPU interactive graph visual analytics environment, and, combined with graph AI techniques like graph neural networks (Science's breakthrough of the year for 2021), are making these capabilities easy for operational data teams.
We have been profitably growing revenue 3X+ year-over-year based on customer growth, not reliance on VCs. Our team is growing from < 10 to 20+ this year.
--- Open Roles ---
The current openings focus on platform engineering (global) and working with major innovating cybersecurity teams (US/Australia), and we expect more throughout the year:
* GPU platform engineer * : Help us launch our global GPU SaaS, enable our customers to auto-correlate all their logs using visual graph AI pipelines, and overall build foundations for an amazing collaborative investigation platform. Strong candidates may qualify for US clearance (DC-based), have worked in cybersecurity or other investigation teams, enterprise/gov experience, and enjoy Python (pandas, jupyter), infrastructure-as-code, detection-as-code, MLOps/AIOps, graph, and may have even done their own GPU computing.
* Security data scientist *: We're beginning to embed with security teams at major organizations to bring their operations into the AI era alongside our partners like Nvidia. You'll split between innovating on security AI algorithms (large-scale GNNs, UMAP, ..), iterating on their deployment for large operational teams, and rolling the code back into our OSS & core platforms. Half the time will be with an anchor customer (Canberra; remote OK; NV1+ clearance sponsorable) and the other half will be split across other global initiatives & accounts.
* Security solutions engineer / security engineer *: Partnering with the above security data scientist, you'll be responsible not just for the AI component but making it practical end-to-end. You'll use tools like Graphistry's visual graph analytics & visual playbook environment and broader PyData ecosystem to make experiences easy for security analysts. This will require using your cybersecurity knowledge, communications with customer, and helping with the day-to-day of innovating on use cases, including concept design, deploying, iterating, and scaling and end-to-end GPU analytics platform. Half the time will be with an anchor customer (Canberra; NV2+ clearance; hybrid onsite/remote) and the other half will be split across other global initiatives & accounts.
