We're looking for a Senior Engineer, preferability fullstack, but frontend or backend focused is great too! This position will be focused primarily as an IC, but an ideal candidate would have experience being a mentor and have a continued interest in developing junior engineers. You will be supporting the development of VECTR, a Purple Team analysis, reporting and attack automation platform.

At Fastmail, we’re bringing the human touch back to email. We have three email services, Fastmail email, Topicbox email lists, and Pobox emailing forwarding.

We’re looking for a System Engineer to keep those services responsive, functional, reliable, and secure. You’ll spend your time hands-on maintaining, improving, and building out the infrastructure that runs our services. For the record, though, our systems are mostly Debian, all self-hosted. You’ll definitely end up working in Bash (and probably a little bit of Perl). (If you’re curious: we also use Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, MySQL, Nginx, Postfix, Consul, Apache, Cyrus, and of course many other things.)
