Google | Full Stack Web Developers | Mountain View, Pittsburgh, NYC, Atlanta, Boulder, Playa Vista, Chicago | ONSITE | VISA | Full-time
https://careers.google.com/jobs/results/136944374823953094-w...
Seeking experienced full stack web developers to join our team! I'm the hiring manager, happy to answer questions about the position. Stack is Java / Angular / Typescript / SQL. Mostly internal and partner-facing applications, but all in Google infrastructure (no outside client work). Most folks are in Mountain View or Pittsburgh if you want to have in-person coworkers on the team, and generally I'm organizing the team to have at least three people on each project. We follow Scrum for the most part with two week sprints. Our part of the company does not allow remote currently but does have a hybrid work week, which means Tuesday through Thursday are in-office, and Monday and Friday can be WFH if you want.
Comment here if you have questions (I'll try to watch it for the next little bit).

Argo AI | Pittsburgh, PA and Palo Alto, CA and Munich, DE, and Dearborn, MI and Pasadena, CA and Miami, Fl and Austin, TX and San Diego, CA and Washington, D.C. or Remote | Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, computer vision people of all stripes and levels, wide variety of other roles | https://argo.ai
Hi, I'm Michael - I run Perception for Argo AI, a major autonomous vehicle company backed by Ford and Volkswagen. I'm hiring talented computer vision folks of all levels, and Argo AI is hiring broadly across many roles. You might be surprised at all the types of expertise we need - not only machine learning engineers and scientists, but high performance programming and software optimization experts, geometric computer vision specialists, and much more. We just showed our driverless testing in Miami and Austin (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kNPezEsybg)!
We are building level 4 autonomous vehicles (of multiple types) for cities, and we have built a very sophisticated set of systems. Some of the things that make Argo unique are our multiple autonomous platforms, our custom LiDAR (>400m range!), and our presence both across the United States and in Germany. And of course, the people - I came to Argo from Google, and this is the best job I've ever had. Everyone is smart, focused, and rowing in the same direction. I also really value the partnerships we have with academia, like the Argo AI Center for Autonomous Vehicle Research at Carnegie Mellon - the close partnerships we have with researchers from CMU, Georgia Tech, TUM, and more allow us to explore the forefront of technology while also keeping our eye on the ball of building products.
Speaking of commercialization, we have pilots with Lyft (https://www.lyft.com/blog/posts/lyft-ford-and-argo-chart-a-p...) and Walmart (https://techcrunch.com/2021/09/15/walmart-to-launch-autonomo...) - we are growing fast and it's an exciting time to join.

If you're experienced and think you might be a good fit in the Perception org, but can't find a job listing above that feels right, feel free also to email me directly at schoenberg@argo.ai - I would be happy to take a look at a CV/resume and put you in touch with our recruiting team. I'm also hiring for a few technical lead manager roles, so if you're a specialist in both deep learning and LiDAR, I'd love to talk to you (or apply to this role: https://www.argo.ai/careers/open-positions/?gh_jid=3082712).
