Looking for a founding dev for an early wellness and spirituality project. Product focus is on video streaming, audio quality, data privacy, and global payments. A working MVP is live on web, Android, and iOS. Stack includes: Next.js/React Native, Tailwind, TypeScript, Agora RTC, and Firebase.
We're two non-YC entrepreneurs with experience in blockchain, education, hospitality, and service-based businesses. We hope to find someone who shares an interest in developing their wellness and spirituality practice. The aim is to keep the team small and development tight, as the product goals are clearly defined.
Please reach out over email if you have the capacity to learn more!

We're a company doing real operational work in e-commerce/3PL logistics. AI usage internally is still basic — decks, spreadsheets, a few people vibe-coding dashboards. No real agentic workflows in production yet. That's what this role is for. You'd be the first dedicated AI engineer here. Two things at once: ship agentic workflows that replace real manual work, and build the underlying platform (APIs, MCP tools, docs) so other teams can build their own instead of asking you for everything forever. First project: an agent that reads an inbound invoice question, pulls the correct (often complex) invoice, and drafts a context-aware reply a teammate can review and send. Currently ~1 hour of manual work, target is ~30 seconds. What we need:
3+ years SWE, 1-2+ of which building production AI systems (not prototypes) 10+ agentic/LLM workflows shipped end-to-end — not toy demos Evidence you've built infra/tools for other people to use, not just yourself Strong Python and/or TypeScript Some background in e-commerce, 3PL, logistics, or comparable B2B ops
Nice to have: RAG, vector DBs, multi-step orchestration, eval frameworks, heavy Cursor/Claude Code/Copilot usage. Fully remote, direct access to leadership, real scope to define how AI gets built here rather than inheriting someone else's stack.

Team grew fast and organically — lots of talented engineers, no shared process yet. This role turns that into a scalable, high-throughput org. Reports to VP of Eng (who owns architecture/vision); you own execution, delivery, and people for ~10 distributed engineers (US/Canada/EU/UK/China). ~90% people management, not player-coach.
You'll own sprint commitments and release cycles, run 1:1s and coaching, remove cross-team roadblocks, own incident response and on-call, and track/improve DORA metrics. Also expected to hold a high bar — direct conversations on underperformance, PIP-first, exit if needed — while keeping the culture kind and caring.
Need: 2+ yrs directly managing ~10-person eng teams, distributed/async experience, strong enough technically to run code reviews and push back on estimates (not coding day-to-day), track record raising delivery throughput at a high-growth company.
Nice to have: big-company process background (Google/Meta/Salesforce-style) mixed with startup speed, and logistics/supply chain/e-commerce domain exposure.
Must overlap ~6 hrs with US Eastern (9am-4pm ET).

Orbit is an AI-first logistics operating system — order intake, route planning, carrier management, driver app, tracking, documents — replacing the Excel-and-phone stack that most of transport logistics still runs on. We're bootstrapped, profitable, and growing in a market full of VC-funded competitors. Our customers stay because the product works.
The role: we call it Product Engineer because you own a piece of the product from idea to production — deciding the solution, building it, shipping it, iterating on feedback. Not ticket-driven work. Small, strong team.
How we build: spec-driven agentic development, not vibe coding. You orchestrate agents against structured specs and persistent project context, verify output, and help build the harness itself (skills, context layers, workflows, evals). We think the engineering bottleneck has moved from typing speed to judgment — knowing what good software looks like and directing agents to produce it. If that matches how you already work, you'll feel at home.
Stack: TypeScript everywhere, zod, tRPC, Node.js, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB/ElectroDB, SST), React/Remix, React Native/Expo. AI layer via Bedrock. You don't need to know every line of it.
Culture: all-remote (EU), async-first, low-meeting. Writing is the most important skill here. Profit sharing via our "Own Orbit" program, quarterly meetups in Hamburg, team offsites ("SpaceWalks") wherever two or more Orbiters want to meet — Orbit covers the stay. Good English required; German is a plus (customers and product are German-speaking).
No cover letter. Show us something you built — a side project, an agent workflow, a repo, an MCP server — and tell us how you work with agents.
Namecoach has spent 10 years building the largest verified pronunciation dataset of its kind: ~2M self-recorded name pronunciations, plus a large corpus of human-verified phonetic spellings.
We're now building Euphonia (https://euphonia.namecoach.ai/), a provider-neutral middleware layer that makes any TTS engine pronounce names, acronyms, and other out-of-vocabulary terms correctly. The new wave of TTS (models from OpenAI, ElevenLabs, etc) sounds great but gives you almost no phoneme-level control, so it gets lots of names and words wrong and you can't easily fix it. We sit in front of these engines and fix it.
We want real depth in speech and phonetics: grapheme-to-phoneme, IPA, ASR/TTS internals, and the ability to build and evaluate models around them (the recognition and G2P side especially). You should be comfortable shipping with agentic dev tools like Claude Code and Cursor. This is a 0 to 1 founding voice AI engineering role with a genuine path to Chief AI Officer for the right person.
Part-time to start (flexible hours, ~2hr/day overlap with US Pacific), with a paid take-home and a paid trial month before anything longer term. Potential conversion to full-time role. Series A closed, bridge to B in motion.

Email hiring+hn@name-coach.com with a short note on what interests you and a link to something you've built. G2P / TTS / ASR open-source work gets read first.
Lumen (https://lumenresearch.ai) is building the cognitive layer for physical AI. Most robotics efforts today learn from thousands of hours of human teleoperation; we think that has a ceiling. White paper: http://lumenresearch.co/paper
Team of two ex-founders — you'd be #3. Pre-seed, runway well into 2027, raising a seed later this year.
We test many model architectures against many sims, and hooking them together is our biggest pain point. We use Gymnasium and Shimmy as the plumbing and upstream useful pieces as open-source contributions. You'd build per-sim adapters to a shared interface contract, bridge single-env vs. GPU-vectorized and sync vs. async paradigms, and own our eval harness.
Looking for: strong Python, Gymnasium (especially the vector API), hands-on experience with Isaac, MuJoCo, or Gazebo, and a track record of getting models running in sims where they didn't before.
Email hi@lumenresearch.co about you and your projects — link one where you got a model working in a sim it wasn't built for and you'll jump the pile.

We build ShowUp, the software that runs live events end to end: check-in, badging, session scanning, lead capture, exhibitor portals. It runs in real time, on-site, where there's no second chance to get it right. We work with teams of every size, including three of the Fortune 5, across hundreds of events a year worldwide.
We're hiring one senior engineer to own core platform development - improvements, integrations, reliability — and ship it end to end. You'll work with our eng lead, who sets architecture and reviews the work, while you run with a lot of autonomy. We want someone who can take an ambiguous problem, scope it, and ship it without needing it broken down first. Builder role: no reports, real ownership.
We're an AI-forward team and lean on AI tooling heavily to punch above our size; we expect you to use it to amplify your judgment, not replace it.
Stack: Python, Django, React, on AWS and GCP. More detail: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18F2bypRBJxQDTsTNdazpz2SB...
Looking for: 8+ years, senior experience owning complex domains, fast ramp in unfamiliar codebases, strong judgment on ambiguous work, fluent everyday use of AI tools, clear communication. Event-tech or integration-heavy background is a plus. Rate: 60-100/hr USD DoE.
Individuals only — no agencies, staffing firms, or third-party recruiters.
Apply: email your resume to chris.roberts@bweventstech.com
AI usage today is basic — decks, spreadsheets, a few people vibe-coding dashboards. No real agentic workflows yet. This is a founding seat to build that: shipping high-impact agentic workflows yourself, plus reusable building blocks (APIs, MCP tools, docs) so any team can build their own.
Example first project: an agent for inbound invoice questions — reads the question, pulls the right invoice, drafts a context-aware reply — turning an hour of manual work into ~30 seconds.
Need: 3+ yrs SWE with 1-2+ yrs shipping production AI systems, 10+ real agentic/LLM workflows built end-to-end, a genuine platform mindset (built tools/infra for others, not just yourself), strong Python and/or TypeScript, and relevant sector background (e-commerce, 3PL, logistics, or similar B2B).
Nice to have: RAG pipelines, vector DBs, multi-step agent orchestration, eval frameworks.
Full JD + Apply: https://uctalent.io/referral/Huynh_Nhu_Bao_Nhan221138/DNwhgw...
We're building a peer-to-peer exchange where fans buy and sell positions in individual athletes, like a stock. Real money, central limit order book, mechanical settlement against a published rules-based rating computed from official on-field stats. There is no house. Fans trade against each other like a prediction market.
We are far along on everything except the build. Rating methodology is designed, legal structure is scoped with counsel, payments and data vendors are selected, and we ran a beta this past NFL season that drew ~1,000 organic users and 21,000 trades in four weeks. The founding team was part of Founders Inc, and we are about to open our seed round.
We are hiring the engineer who owns the entire technical build, with no inherited architecture and nobody between them and the problem:
Matching engine and order book Rating and settlement engine, deterministic, computed from official stats Ledger, custody, and the real-time data pipeline Every architecture decision, including one we have deliberately left open: on-chain vs off-chain custody and settlement at v1
Looking for someone who has built correctness-critical, concurrent systems. Trading, exchanges, payments, or comparable. Language is open. We care about systems depth, not a specific stack. Two non-technical founders, so you would own the technical domain completely and be the technical voice with investors and eventually regulators. Email me leon@fansharesapp.com if interested, thanks
Qase is how engineering teams verify the quality of AI-generated code, so their companies can safely adopt AI-accelerated workflows.
Developer Advocate — US-based, remote (North America). We're building the space for how engineering teams verify the quality of AI-generated code. Technical Customer Support Specialist — Remote (South Africa, Philippines, Colombia, Serbia, Kenya, Mexico, Eastern Europe). $12k–$15k. 2+ years in B2B SaaS support (L1/L2), C1 English, comfortable working autonomously. Hands-on with Intercom, Jira, Canny, Notion or equivalents. https://wellfound.com/l/2AH23m

We're hiring a senior frontend engineer to own key parts of our frontend platform - including our shared component library strategy - across a legacy React codebase and a modern Next.js (App Router) app. This is real-complexity work, not just greenfield: modernizing older code, publishing reusable component packages in a monorepo, and building RTL/LTR (Arabic + English) interfaces with next-intl. Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind v3/v4, Radix UI, Open edX Paragon, Zustand/Jotai, TanStack Query, Vercel AI SDK + OpenAI APIs, Jest/Testing Library. Looking for: 5+ yrs frontend experience, strong async communication, proven ability to drive work to completion independently in a distributed team. Open edX/Paragon experience is a strong plus. Flexible hours, competitive pay, and you'll work alongside engineers from the global Open edX community.
LightSight is a forward-deployed consulting company building customized solutions for mid-sized firms, predominantly in the Midwest. We're a team of former Microsoft engineers/PMs bringing our experience with internal process improvement on Microsoft datacenters to other organizations. Our mission is to equip our clients with the knowledge and means to continuously innovate with AI - if that sounds inspiring, you would fit in well here.
If you have industry software development experience and like to work with AI coding tools, we would love to hear from you! We predominantly work in Azure/Go/React (TypeScript), but are not particular about which stack you've used.
Compensation: $90k (junior) - $150k (senior)

We're building the first Identity Acceptance Network, the "Visa for ID." Humanity is editing genes, starting space tourism, and verging on artificial general intelligence. Meanwhile, identity verification is still done by taking pictures of plastic cards.
Role - Senior Product Engineer (#5 on the team; ~20% of engineering capacity). High ownership, product-minded, backend and systems leaning. - This is not a ticket-churning role. You should want to understand the competitive landscape, listen in on customer calls, bring engineering insight to product discussions, and own features end-to-end. - You should be a Barrel: someone who can take on ambiguous work, pull together the right context, make tradeoffs explicit, and drive without needing to be told every next step. Revenue is surging, we need judgement to help shape the product. - Strong backend/platform experience; generalist enough to move up/down the stack when the product needs it. - You care deeply about user privacy and data security. We work on identity. Sloppiness here is not an option.
Stack & ways of working - .NET (C#) backend, React + TypeScript frontend, Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL/Storage, Bicep IaC, GitHub CI/CD. - Remote-first; North America (CT +/- 2) or Europe (CET +/- 1). Strong async work habits; 4 hrs/week of scheduled meetings on average; pairing/huddles when useful. - We use AI aggressively and prudently. You'll have a large token budget, but we expect strong judgment around the risks.
Comp & apply
- Salary is set by our compensation philosophy, with meaningful equity. We discuss compensation early so neither side wastes time.

I've been obsessed with CRDTs since I first saw them at Strange Loop years ago, and I still can't quite believe I now get to work on them for a living — in some of the most challenging environments there are: disconnected, degraded, contested, out where the cloud isn't. If that's your kind of problem, come build with us.
Ditto is the edge-native data platform that keeps distributed systems in sync when the network doesn't cooperate — an offline-first, CRDT-based layer syncing any device (phone, vehicle, sensor, server) over Bluetooth LE, P2P Wi-Fi, LAN, and tactical radio, with or without connectivity. Same core, commercial to defense; operationally deployed and network-agnostic. The problems are the fun kind: conflict-free replication with no server and no synchronized clock, multi-transport routing that never drops the connection, moving a coherent picture over links as thin as an HF radio shot, and human-in-the-loop robotics/autonomy where a detection may have to be physically carried by a moving node. Concept to field in days, not months.

I have ~10 opportunities for Databricks engineers as subcontractors to help large Databricks customers migrate to the platform. The Solutions Architect roles are heavily data-pipeline focused, and for the FDEs (Forward Deployed Engineers) want Databricks experience plus full stack experience to stand up Databricks apps for customers.
These opportunities vary from short to long term (though shorter term is probably ~6 months), and are full time even on contract. If that's you, drop me an email k at lunt dot co -- a PDF resume and phone number is the fastest way to proceed. Several of these need to start as soon as Aug 1. not dot com.
If you're deep in Databricks, hmu.

We're pre-seed, VC-backed, and have gone from pre-revenue to profitable in the past 2 years. If interested, apply here and mention Hacker News! https://rivetapp.notion.site/Full-Stack-Engineer-29cddd02b55...
We’re hiring for:
Senior Systems Engineer — Capture & Materializations Design and build high-performance connectors that move data in and out of Estuary in real time. Work across APIs, databases, and streaming systems to ensure correctness, reliability, and scalability. This role is deeply systems-oriented, with a focus on data plane execution. Go and Rust are core to our stack.
Senior Front-End / Full stack Engineer - Build highly interactive observability and data-flow experiences for the Estuary platform. Design and develop real-time visualizations of distributed data pipelines, metrics, and system health using React and TypeScript. We’re looking for engineers with deep front-end expertise, strong performance instincts, and experience building complex data visualization or developer-focused products.

We compress LLM KV cache. Measured: 8× at 3-bit with 0.43% quality delta (GPU-validated); 22× live end-to-end on a 5-tenant workload, GPU-verified this week (quantization × prefix dedup, decomposition always stated); 16.89× tenant density on a single V100-32GB. Validated across Mistral/Qwen/Llama with zero re-tuning. 90+ patents pending; design-partner pipeline; seed round in motion.
The gap: our throughput path is a reference implementation. First job is the fused Triton/CUDA dequant+attention kernel — turning a validated 22× memory result into production speed. Then you own the serving stack.
Process: call → NDA → paid 1–2 week trial on the real kernel → decide together. We report negative results straight; you should want to work somewhere that does.
Contact: josef@podosai.com (Yosef Elimlich, founder — PODOS AI is our affiliated hardware company; the compression IP is Syntropic)

At FusionAuth, our mission is to make authentication and authorization simple and secure for every developer building web and mobile applications. We want devs to stop worrying about auth and focus on building something awesome.
There are a lot of companies in the auth space, but we feel like we have something special:
* a relatively unique deployment model (self-host on-prem, run in your cloud or let us operate it for you in ours)
* A well designed API first approach; one customer compared our APIs to petrichor
* a mature product (the code base is nine+ years old and we've found and fixed a lot of the sharp edges around core login use cases; but don't worry, there are plenty more features to add)
* a full featured free-as-in-beer version which makes the sales cycle easier; prospects often come in having prototyped an integration
Our core software is commercial. We open source much of our supporting infrastructure. Technologies and standards that you will work with: modern Java, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, MySQL, OAuth, SAML, OIDC.

Acme is building a product. We are an early-stage company at the ground floor — no code yet, no customers yet, just a clear vision and a bias for action. We are looking for a founding engineer who wants to build something from nothing: architect the system, write the first line of code, ship the first version, and grow alongside the company.
What You'll Do: - Build the product end-to-end — from database schema and API design to frontend UI and deployment infrastructure - Make architectural decisions — choose the tech stack, set up CI/CD, monitoring, and dev environments - Ship iteratively — get working software in front of users fast, then improve based on real feedback - Set engineering standards — establish coding conventions, code review practices, and a culture of quality - Influence product direction — work directly with the CEO on what to build, what to cut, and how to prioritize - Own the infrastructure — provision cloud resources, manage deployments, and keep the app running in production
Who You Are: - 3–8 years of software engineering experience, preferably in early-stage startups or with significant side-project shipping - Full-stack capable — comfortable across frontend, backend, databases, and infrastructure - Ship-focused — 80% today beats 100% next month. Pragmatic tradeoffs between speed and quality - Independent — thrive without a playbook. Figure things out, make decisions, communicate clearly - High ownership, low ego — care about the mission and the team, not about who gets credit - Product-sensible — good judgment about what users need and what can wait
Compensation: Competitive salary + meaningful equity (2–5% range)
How to Apply: Send a note to the CEO with what excites you about early-stage building, a link to something you have built (GitHub, portfolio, side project), and why Acme specifically. No formal resume required.
We are a DIY distribution and promotion platform for independent artists and labels. In an industry that's notoriously over-complicated and dominated by players who only care about volume, we're building something kinder: a genuinely helpful way to release music and build a following.
We already support more than 20,000 users in their music careers. In the Netherlands, we're a leading provider of independent digital music distribution, and we continue to grow steadily on an international scale.
We are actively looking for a senior full stack engineer and a medior operations and automation engineer. Unfortunately we can’t offer relocation or visa sponsorship.
Our stack relies on python, fastapi, postgres, next.js, react, typescript, gcp, terraform, k8s, redis, dataflow, see job descriptions for more details.
Check out https://kb.makewaves.fm/general/careers for more details.
LabAMI’s mission is to harness technology to make learning music more accessible, intuitive, and meaningful for everyone. We empower teachers to expand their impact, help students chart inspiring learning journeys, and aim to connect a global community of musicians, educators, and enthusiasts.
We're looking for a software engineer interested in developing scalable and polished full-stack applications. We've started with a cross-platform mobile and are planning expansions to desktop and web.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong skills in at least one programming language.
- Passion for developing tools for music education.
- Ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, early-stage environment
- Excited to work with Elixir, Flutter, and Rust.
This is a remote, equity-only role with a mission-driven, flexible team that cares deeply about music and technology.

We build AI agents that run real operations. Humans talk to our agents to run commercial real estate: leases, contractors, invoicing, accounting. We're live in production across several European jurisdictions, with real customers and real money.
We need a Forward Deployed Engineer to own a client-facing use case end to end: a strong backend engineer who is also the face of the team to the customer.
The job:
- Talk to clients directly and often. Pull requirements out of messy conversations, explain tradeoffs, own the relationship
- Turn jurisdiction-specific lease rules, tax and accounting mappings, client-specific workflows into tools our agents call
- Ship to production in your first month, then keep it alive
What we need, in this order:
1. Self-driven, real ownership. You'll have a lot of freedom and support, but the use case is yours end to end - nobody will be feeding you tickets.
2. Excellent English and real customer-facing experience. You'll be on client calls every week.
3. Serious backend experience. You've shipped and operated production systems, and can work as the only engineer in the room. We use AI tools heavily, but we don't vibe code: your engineering judgment and review are what make the code shippable, and you own what you merge.
4. LLM agents in production, or you ramp fast: tool calling, evals, knowing when a plain deterministic tool beats a model call.
Bonus, not required: containers and CI/CD, RBAC and auditing, LangChain/LangGraph, operator or consulting background.
We're a small senior team across Europe and South America. For this role we need you in Europe.
Competitive comp - we have no salary bands, for the right person we'll stretch.
Apply: mercedes@kinxshn.com, subject "HN - Forward Deployed Engineer", salary expectation and CV attached - skip the skills inventory: tell us about something hard you shipped and a customer you made happy.
Modern customers support & product feedback platform powering thousands of teams, including Lovable, Raycast, and n8n. Fully bootstrapped, profitable, and growing fast.
We’re building a full customer-facing suite where teams can handle their customer support, feedback prioritization, and product updates - all in one place.
We’re looking for a full-stack product engineer to own and ship core product features end-to-end, with a direct impact on Featurebase’s future.
Stack: NextJS + Typescript for the frontend, Node.js for the backend, MongoDB, Redis.
If you like small teams, autonomy, and shipping meaningful product work, we’d love to have you on board!
Apply here (we read every submission): https://go.featurebase.app/careers
We’re looking for Python backend engineers to work on a trustless supercluster of performance-proofed GPU-enabled sandboxed docker container runners controlled by truly decentralized algorithms (not just PAXOS or RAFT).
Wow, that was a mouthful...
If you found it interesting, join Reef Technologies and tackle complex technical challenges like this on your own terms:
- Contribute from wherever you like; we are fully remote - Set your own time commitment, as long as it’s at least 30h per week - See how we work in our handbook: github.com/reef-technologies/handbook - Influence the way we operate through our Sociocracy 3.0 decision-making process
Salary on a B2B contract:
- 45-70 USD or 180-280 PLN per hour - Flexible work schedule (as measured with a time tracker) - We automatically adjust rates based on inflation twice a year - We're looking for someone with 5+ years of programming experience, including at least a year with Python (including open-source and significant personal projects).
So, what do you think? You don't even need a CV; just go to https://careers.reef.pl/?utm_source=hackernews and shoot a few quick commands to apply.
Tax Rails is building TurboTax for payroll taxes — we simplify the payroll tax processes like e-filing and election filings into clean APIs. We're hiring a senior Rails engineer (4–10 yrs) to own features end-to-end: modeling gnarly tax workflows, document generation, e-file pipelines. Care about correctness — in tax, "mostly right" isn't right. No tax background needed.
Email griffin [at] taxrails [dot] com with a short note, resume, and something you've built.
airCFO is an AI-powered accounting & finance services partner to 300+ startups (current/former clients include Anthropic, Replit, Harmonic), and we are building a platform to supercharge our service's capabilities. We're hiring a founding engineer to build the systems behind it: a retrieval/RAG context layer over all our tools, and the internal apps (TypeScript, Node, Python/FastAPI, React, Postgres, Claude + MCP) our teams use daily. We want someone senior who drives coding agents hard but refuses to lose the plot — clean architecture and a real mental model of the whole system. Production RAG/agents a plus, not a requirement. You'd report to a hands-on fractional CTO; small team, high autonomy.

3Play makes content accessible across disability and language. Our human-QA'd captioning, audio description, subtitling, and dubbing services are used by over 10,000 media, higher ed, creator, enterprise, and government customers. We’ve worked on really cool projects: recent examples including captioning the 2024 Paris Olympics and providing quality AI dubbing for high-profile YouTube creators.
I'm leading the Growth team, and we're working to build new, beautiful UI experiences on our long-loved services. Our stack is a Remix/Rails product and Astro/Sanity marketing site, both backed with modern design system foundation (what you might expect with Typescript, Tailwind, ShadCN, Tanstack, etc). I'm looking for a principal-level engineer with strong taste in front-end: someone who cares about UX and styling, takes accessibility and page weight seriously, builds strong validation / testing harnesses, and keeps a dependency tree sane instead of letting it metastasize.
The other part of this role is contributing to our agents and workflows. We've invested heavily here with the right mix of enthusiasm, guardrails, and budget. You'll have heavy influence over how it evolves: what we hand to agents vs. keep in human hands, how work gets specified and parallelized, how we keep the results beautiful, and where the security and review gates live. There’s a ton of opportunity to work with the latest AI tooling and determine best practices as the industry matures. We’re a small team happily working over 15 years with high impact, high autonomy, and low bureaucracy. Come join us! Apply at https://www.3playmedia.com/company/jobs-post/?gh_jid=7761973.... Mention HN when you apply!
Check out the jobs page on our website, or email sid@ with (HN) in your subject line.
Looking for: Automotive experience, Full-Stack, AI/ML, Data Engineers (public-sector/govtech experience a plus)
Stack: React Native/Expo, Next.js, Hono, Cloudflare Workers, PostgreSQL, TypeScript everywhere
Colonist (colonist.io) is a multiplayer board game platform. ~20 people, millions of monthly players, no middle management between you and the product.
You'll own features end-to-end and ship to a live player base within days. Right now we're evolving the core experience and building toward a multi-game platform. The mission is to become the internet's biggest board game platform.
This role is a good fit if you: want to see your work matter at real scale without a large team around you, are comfortable with ambiguity and don't need someone to define your tasks, and use AI tools as a genuine multiplier in your workflow.
This isn't a good fit if you: prefer a larger team with specialists for every layer, or are looking for a role with clearly scoped tickets.

MWI Animal Health is a leading U.S. distributor of animal health products, medications, and technology solutions for veterinarians and livestock producers.
1. Senior Application Developer (React + Composable Commerce)
We're hiring a senior dev (8+ yrs) to lead projects, mentor juniors, and build scalable apps end-to-end. Stack: React (Redux/Context), C#/.NET, microservices, headless commerce (CommerceTools, ContentStack), NoSQL + relational DBs, event streaming, TDD. You'll turn messy business requirements into solid technical solutions and help shape our architecture. Bonus: WMS experience. Apply if you like leading, mentoring, and shipping.
2. QA Engineer
We're hiring a QA Engineer to own quality across our suite of connected web applications and the shared services between them. You'll mix hands-on manual/exploratory testing with building and maintaining automated suites (end-to-end, integration, component), with a big focus on the seams between apps: navigation, shared auth, data hand-offs, and micro-frontend integrations. You'll own the full bug lifecycle, wire tests into CI/CD as reliable quality gates, and partner with product and engineering to build testability in from the start.
Ideal fit: 3+ years in QA testing web apps, across both manual and automated testing with modern frameworks (Playwright, Selenium) and unit/component tooling (Jest, Vitest). Comfortable testing SPAs and REST APIs, with enough JavaScript/TypeScript to write and debug test code. Bonus points for React, Vite, monorepos, micro-frontends, GitHub Actions. Above all, a user-focused mindset — catching problems before customers do.
3. Senior DevOps Engineer
We're hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to standardize application deployments, containerization, and release processes across our org. You'll build shared CI/CD pipelines, containerize apps with Docker/Kubernetes, and create the tooling and golden paths that let teams ship reliably. Ideal fit: solid experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins), IaC (Terraform/Helm), and cloud providers (AWS/Azure), plus a track record of driving standardization at scale. Pragmatic, collaborative, and motivated by making other teams more productive.

DrSwarm is building AI-driven workflow automation for healthcare clinics / health systems (scheduling, RCM/billing workflows, patient ops). This is a true 0→1 role: ship fast, talk to customers, own systems end-to-end.
You will: - Build product end-to-end (Next.js + Django) - Ship integrations + workflow automation (APIs, webhooks, background jobs, queues) - Own reliability (logs/metrics, retries, failure modes) and pragmatic security (HIPAA-aware)
Stack: Next.js, React/TypeScript, Django/Python, Postgres, Celery/Redis, Docker, AWS/DigitalOcean, LLM APIs. Looking for: Strong full-stack builder. Good to work with. Can talk to customers / users / salespeople. Uses AI to generate 90%+ of their code, interested in AI + Healthcare.
Comp: Market with mix of base + bonus + meaningful equity

Ashby is the all-in-one recruiting platform powering hiring at the world's most innovative companies. If you cmd+f "Ashby" you'll see that we're powering many of the job postings in this thread!
We’re looking to scale our engineering leadership team with technical leaders who want to raise the impact of a high-performing organization.
* Not Your Traditional "Jira-Manager": Our EMs are not classic delivery coordinators who shuffle meetings or build heavy processes. Instead, you will own people, hiring bar, technical judgment, and the health of our engineering systems.
* High-Autonomy Team: Because 80%+ of our engineering team is Senior–Staff+ level, our engineers already possess a high degree of ownership. Your focus is less on day-to-day task coordination and more on coaching independent owners, managing ambiguity, and raising team impact.
* Technically Credible Leaders: You will stay close enough to the work to challenge assumptions, review proposals, spot maintainability issues, and jump into the code to debug alongside engineers when needed.
* Organizational Advocates: Beyond your immediate team, you will act as an advocate owning the health and metrics of org-wide areas—ranging from CI/CD health and developer productivity to customer success collaboration and on-call sustainability.
* 100% Remote Async Culture: We maintain an even distribution of engineers across North America and Europe, optimizing for minimal process and maximum focus. * Here's how we're thinking about AI at Ashby:https://www.ashbyhq.com/blog/engineering/ai-ashby-engineerin...
* Full transparency on engineering levels + comp:https://www.ashbyhq.com/blog/engineering/leveling-and-compen...
Stack: TypeScript (frontend & backend), React, GraphQL API, Node.js, Postgres, Redis. (While you won't always be shipping code, you are expected to hold a deep technical understanding of the system).

Cambium Assessment is a leader in online testing. We build online assessment software systems used by millions of students and thousands of educators.
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own the architecture for AI-enabled software systems. You'll be designing autonomous AI agents with persistent memory, shared state, and multi-step reasoning, embedding them into production EdTech products at scale. This is an IC role where you'll build agentic systems, set up evaluation/safety frameworks, and mentor other engineers.
Tech Stack/Concepts: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, AWS Bedrock, Tool Calling, RAG, Prompt/Context Engineering.
Requirements: 5+ years of full-stack experience (2+ years at a Senior level); Hands-on experience building agentic systems; Strong Python and TypeScript/JavaScript programming knowledge; Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Note: Due to company policy Cambium Assessment cannot provide visa sponsorship for this role.
Nice to have: Experience with AWS Bedrock, Strands Agents, AI eval frameworks, or an EdTech background.

We're a software engineering consultancy that builds enterprise software the right way. We negotiate the right to open source all our client code, maintain a handful of popular libraries, and our engineers contribute to Django core. We sponsor PyCon, DjangoCon, and Django Girls because we're invested in the ecosystem we build on.
We're looking for software engineers who value software design, system architecture, and collaboration. You should be strong in most of these areas: web application security, relational database design (PostgreSQL query plans, indexes, and constraints, not whatever the ORM emits), Django internals, React, and distributed systems. What you'll actually work on: complex state machines for financial workflows, multi-tenant architectures with row-level security, custom database functions when the ORM isn't enough, and React frontends that handle real-time data without being a mess of useEffect race conditions.
A note on how we work: we think deeply about the systems we build, and we believe understanding comes from doing the work yourself, not from handing it to a model. If you ship code you don't understand, we're genuinely not a fit, and that's fine. If that paragraph made you nod, we want to hear from you.
We're a small team where you'll own features end-to-end (database design to React components) and have opportunities to shape technical decisions. You'll work with a team that practices empathy and values work-life balance. If you've ever wished your job involved more elegant state machines and fewer marketing landing pages, let's talk: info@fusionbox.com.
SerpApi is the leading API to scrape and parse search engine results. We provide 100+ APIs to Google, Google Maps, Google Images, Bing, Baidu, and more.
Our current stack is Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, and React.JS. We are looking for more Junior and Senior FullStack Engineers.
We have an awesome work environment: We are a remote first company (before Covid!). We do continuous integration, continuous deployments, code reviews, code pairings, profit sharing, and most of communication is async via GitHub.
We value super strongly transparency, do open books, have a public roadmap, and contribute to the EFF, and are a Contributing Member of the Rails Foundation.

We are hiring a GPU Engineer to work on the fastest LLM inference engine on standard datacenter GPUs.
You would own low-level kernel work in CUDA/PTX or HIP/CDNA ISA, the monokernel pipeline, profiling infrastructure inside it, scaling to the frontier MoE models that run in production, and building our own agents that optimize kernels and inference autonomously.
We generate 3,000 tokens/s per request on 8x AMD MI300X and 2,100 on 8x NVIDIA H200, at batch size 1, FP16, no speculative decoding.
At batch size 1, the decode is GEMV, so it is memory bandwidth bound, and MBU is what counts.
We rewrote the whole hot path ourselves, from the assembly on the chip up to the Transformer we designed around it, with the full decode running as a single persistent GPU kernel.
Try it at https://playground.kog.ai
Showing your code is part of the process.
If you are outside a Europe-compatible timezone, relocation to one is required.

Hey HN, we’re ProxyBase. We’re building an API-first, fully headless SOCKS5 proxy network designed specifically for autonomous AI agents, LLM tool-calling, and large-scale web scraping.
Most traditional proxy networks operate in a bit of a gray area—they buy bandwidth harvested from sneaky, hidden SDK bundles embedded inside free apps. We're doing things differently:
100% Ethical Sourcing: We pay our node operators directly. People run our open-source CLI client to share their bandwidth and earn microcredits in real-time. It’s fully transparent, consent-driven, and compensated.
Built for Swarms, Not Dashboards: AI agents and automated workflows can provision, utilize, dynamically route (via metadata in the SOCKS5 auth string), and settle proxy fees entirely programmatically using US based stable coins without ever touching a manual web dashboard.
Our Tech Stack:
Backend: Rust (Actix-web, SQLite/DashMap, WebSockets, Yamux stream multiplexing) Frontend / Desktop: React, TypeScript, Tauri (our client-side bridge app)
What we're looking for:
Backend Engineer (Rust): Help us scale our high-concurrency SOCKS5-to-WebSocket relay gateway and real-time ledger settlement engines. Full-Stack Developer (TypeScript / Tauri / Rust): Own our local proxy bridging software, client-side developer portal, and integration libraries. If you like systems-level programming (TCP/UDP, tunnel multiplexing, concurrent state) and want to work on clean, developer-first infrastructure, we'd love to chat.
Drop us a line at
jobs@proxybase.xyz with a bit about what you've built.
We are a people-first, boutique tech agency creating on-demand teams and software solutions for long-standing clients. These clients trust us to practice engineering excellence as though we were members of their own staff. Our leadership team is ex-Fortune 100 with software engineering backgrounds: we’re still coding. Notable recent projects include a gigantic ERP migration for Anduril Industries, and a skunkworks with Surge Labs helping to develop some of the frontier LLM models themselves (yes, seriously). This is a remote-first agency, but some projects involve onsite work.
I’m the founder and CEO, and I’m trying to do what I call “enlightened business”. I take responsibility for both staff and clients, and I look for people who approach their work with a similar sense of ownership. Applicants must meet a high bar - I personally review every hire. In return you’ll get:
* Flexibility and a low-bureaucracy environment * Clients that won’t treat the vendor like “the B Team” * The chance to act as a code architect, not just implement tickets * Exposure to a wide variety of industries and modern challenges * Me as your personal champion and advocate Feel free to submit, even if you already did in the past. We’re currently especially seeking:
Back-end, Front-end, and Full-Stack Software Engineers, Tiers 3 and 4 (Typescript/Javascript, React, NextJS; Ruby on Rails; Python; DevOps, and third-party API integrations)
Tier 3 roles are typically 5-10 years experience with $150-$180K total comp.
Tier 4 roles are 11-20 years experience, $215-$260K total comp.
Higher tiers exist, and we always welcome exceptional applications.
Though not yet universal, many of our clients are now demanding senior/staff engineers with success using modern agentic approaches. Be ready to explain where current models work well and where they do not.

Dashdoc is a SaaS Transport Management System for road freight. We help carriers and shippers run transport operations on one shared platform.
We’re hiring a product-minded engineer to help us expand in Belgium and the Netherlands. Local specifics: e-CMR mandates, digital waste regulations, Dutch/Flemish accounting standards, regional carrier workflows often block deals or deployments. Your job is to find those blockers and turn them into shipped product.
You’ll work directly with customers, sales, CSMs, and product. You’ll be able to spend time with carriers in Belgium and the Netherlands, watch users use the product, read contracts/regulations, then spec, build, deploy, and measure the features yourself.
Stack: React, React Native, Python/Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud. We use Shape Up, ship continuously, and use AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.
Good fit if you speak Dutch fluently, write clearly in English, like owning ambiguous product problems end-to-end, care about simple UX and clean code, and enjoy deleting code as much as adding it.

I am hiring engineers that want to ship code to solve some of our company's most critical use cases using AI. The team is divided into 2-3 person pods, allowing you to go deep into the problem space of a single domain. For example, we are implementing intelligent document processing for all the paper forms (yes we still have a lot of paper!) we get from customers.
Never considered working in life insurance? Neither did I! But it turns out that there are a ton of interesting problems to work on.
Read the job description on the Symetra careers site (search for "AI Enablement") and then email me and tell me why you'd like to join and what you could bring to the team.
I'm Elliot, lead of the team, elliot.wargo@symetra.com

Opendate builds the ticketing platform powering independent music venues across North America.
We're looking for a senior engineer who is pushing the boundaries of AI-assisted software development.
Everyone says they use AI. We're looking for someone who has gone much further—someone who is constantly experimenting with new workflows, building agents, automating entire pieces of development, and rethinking what one engineer can accomplish.
Our engineering team believes AI is fundamentally changing what great engineering looks like. We want people who are helping define that future—not waiting for someone else to.
Our stack includes Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, AWS, Sidekiq, and Stripe, but we're far more interested in how you build than the specific technologies you've used.
If you're excited by questions like:
How can AI own an entire feature from design to deployment? What engineering work still requires humans, and what should be automated? How do we move dramatically faster while maintaining an exceptionally high bar for quality? What does an engineering organization look like when every engineer has AI teammates?
...you'll probably enjoy working with us.
If this resonates, we'd love to hear from you.

Spruce lets users control their data across the web. Instead of users logging into platforms, we believe platforms should request to access data vaults controlled by users.
The demand for trusted digital ID is accelerating as AI deepfakes begin to destroy most of the ways we use to verify identity today. How private or secure is it to hold your driver's license or passport up to a webcam to get a bank account? Was it ever private or secure? Stable diffusion can break so much of this already. Society will need trusted digital IDs and credentials. Our mission is to allow them to be controlled by individuals, with safeguards to prevent descents into surveillance states and checkpoint societies.
We are the main implementers of category-defining initiatives such as the digital ID program for the California DMV, and the verifiable digital credentials program in Utah. We are private sector participants in NIST's National Cyber Security of Excellence initiative for privacy-preserving digital ID.
We are hiring skilled engineers who care about making a real impact in improving public services, digital autonomy, and user privacy for the world. We work closely with public sector agencies, and have high regard for public servants. We have a strong engineering and customer-oriented culture, and are not simply a SaaS product or AI wrapper. Our roles are not for the faint of heart: you will be expected to work hard and learn a lot in this role.
Our engineers are ambitious to get outcomes for our customers and their constituents. On any given day, they may write great Rust/C#/TypeScript, deal with mainframe dumps, read policy documents, respond to technical RFIs/RFPs, manage on-prem environments, implement new NFC + Bluetooth protocols in Swift/Kotlin, create CI/CD processes that enforce W3C accessibility guidelines and i18n requirements, rewrite lost specs from disassembled binaries, figure out stablecoin payments, and design new protections for public key infrastructure. It is a team effort, and people with T-shirt shaped skills are able to collaborate and learn a ton from each other every day.
We are interested in candidates who want to be proud of the meaningful impact they make for society, even if it takes time to get right. This is not the right job for someone who wants to "join a cool new AI startup" that implodes or exits in under a year.

Hi HN! I'm Seema, Tech Recruiter at Ojin, and we're looking for a Product Engineer to join our small team.
We build the infrastructure that makes AI feel human — real-time AI agents with natural, lifelike conversation on a globally distributed GPU fabric. We've spent five years proving this works for enterprise customers and we're now opening it up as a developer platform — this is the team that will build it from the ground up.
You'd own features end-to-end: interactive frontends through to Python-based agentic backends, working directly with the founders on a 15 person team. You help define the solution, design the architecture and ship it.
Stack: TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, WebRTC, WebSockets, AWS
Looking for: 3-5+ years, genuine full-stack ability, startup experience, and real enthusiasm for building AI products.
We're not able to offer relocation or visa sponsorship. If you're already in Berlin, this is a hybrid role. If you're elsewhere, we're open to fully remote within CET ±2h.
