We build UCS, an omni-channel contact-center platform used by Dutch housing corporations and municipalities. Profitable, ~40 people, 15+ years in market. Our platform runs reliably but the way we operate it is behind 2026 standards. You'd own that gap: moving from PowerShell-script deploys toward infra-as-code, real observability and clean deployment automation. First hire in a new platform team, growing to 3-4 people.
Reality check: it's a .NET-on-Windows/Azure shop (IIS, Windows services, SQL Server), so pure Linux/K8s/Go isn't the fit. We deliberately don't run Kubernetes (tens of tenants, office-hours workloads); Ansible + Compose-per-VM is the likely direction. We prefer simple and boring. Light, fair on-call.

Tower is a Python-native serverless data platform. Data teams write plain Python, and we handle packaging, dependency resolution, scheduling, and execution across a serverless runtime built on Apache Iceberg. There's no clusters to manage, no YAML to write, no pipelines to rewrite to fit someone else's engine. If you've ever wanted your local Python script to just run in production at scale without a Databricks detour, that's the product.
We're a small, senior team split between London and Berlin. We've built a lot of tech: Custom run dispatch service, multi-region routing, storage based on Apache Iceberg, and the runtime itself, to name a few. Recycleye and CP Group build recycling plants, and are forming a new team to provide data analytics and optimisation to recycling facility operators. There are optical sorters, AI powered airjets, AI robots and many different types of machines in a waste facility. The waste is constantly varying and the plant can be configured in thousands of ways to sort the material. This team will be collecting this data using different sensors and cameras.

We're a VC-funded startup (recently raised $51M Series C) building an infrastructure orchestrator and collaborative management platform for Infrastructure-as-Code – from OpenTofu, Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Kubernetes, to Ansible.
On the backend we're using 100% Go with AWS primitives. We're looking for backend developers who like doing DevOps'y stuff sometimes (because in a way it's the spirit of our company), or have experience with the cloud native ecosystem. Ideally you'd have experience working with an IaC tool, i.e. Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, CloudFormation, Kubernetes, or SaltStack.
